Your Las Vegas Fourth of July Fireworks Guide 2020

Fourth of July weekend is here.

And that means the search for a good spot to watch fireworks has started.

Despite the squeeze of COVID-19 and cancellations across the state, Las Vegas and its surrounding suburbs happen to have several options available.

Here’s where to catch fireworks in Southern Nevada to celebrate America’s birthday.

LAS VEGAS FIREWORKS

Red Rock Casino Resort Fireworks Show

Where: Charleston Boulevard and 215 beltway (Summerlin)

When: 9 p.m. Saturday

Cost: Free.

Downtown Las Vegas Fireworks

Where: The Plaza, 1 N. Main St., Las Vegas

When: 10 p.m. Saturday

Cost: Free.

HENDERSON FIREWORKS

Star-Spangled Sky

Where: Fireworks shows will unfold at Lake Las Vegas, Green Valley Ranch Resort, the M Resort and Legacy Golf Club. “You can view display with the best view from your home or other location where you can ensure social distancing,” according to the City of Henderson website. Patriotic music will play from these iHeart radio stations: The Mountain 93.1, The Bull 95.5, Sunny 106.5 and Real 103.9

When: 9 p.m. Saturday.

PAHRUMP FIREWORKS

Fireworks Over Pahrump

Where: One mile west on Gamebird Road right off of Highway 160

When: July 2-5 (Thursday-Sunday, 7 p.m.-midnight.

Cost: All visitors who want to launch their own fireworks must have a special permit from one of five fireworks stores, according to the event website: Area 51, Phantom Fireworks, Red Apple Fireworks, Black Jack Fireworks, Outlaw Pyro. Launch permits are $5 each. The site is first come first serve within a 30-minute limit.

MESQUITE FIREWORKS

Rockets Over the Red Mesa

Where: Eureka Casino, 275 Mesa Blvd., Mesquite, Nevada.

When: 9 p.m. Saturday. A patriotic soundtrack will be played on KNPR-FM, 88.1.
