The popular fried chicken chain that was born in the South is planning to open 20 locations in Las Vegas.
The Texas-based brand Golden Chick, famous for its Original Golden Tenders, Golden Roast Chicken and hot yeast rolls is already a force in the fried chicken beat across Texas, South Carolina, Oklahoma, Florida and recently Louisiana with 192 restaurants.
The Las Vegas expansion will be led by Chris Aslam, a tenured franchisee of the brand.
“Chris has been a great addition to our franchisee family who runs five highly successful Golden Chick restaurants in North Texas and we could not be more proud to announce that he will now be a major part of our expansion in the Las Vegas market,” said Jim Stevens, president of Golden Chick.
The family-oriented, quick-service restaurant brand was founded in 1967, offering dine-in, drive-thru, catering and home delivery options.
Aslam brings the brand to Las Vegas after being with the Golden Chick team for three years already with a total of five locations throughout Northern Texas.
Aslam, who is also the CEO of Rock Strategic, LLC, said, “I fell in love with Golden Chick as a brand before I decided to join the family as a franchisee. I am confident that the community of Las Vegas is going to share that love. My team cannot wait to meet our future guests and serve them for years to come.”
The first of 20 locations in Las Vegas is scheduled to begin construction before the end of 2020.
