‘Marathon Construction’ Coming to Charleston in Downtown Las Vegas this Month

City crews are preparing for “marathon construction” over a couple of weekends this month on Charleston Boulevard in downtown Las Vegas.

A city spokesperson says Charleston will be down to one lane in each direction between Third and Sixth streets during construction.

Work is scheduled to start at 9 p.m. Thursday, July 9, and last through 5 a.m. Monday, July 13.

It will pick up again at 9 p.m. Friday, July 17, and finishing at 5 a.m. Monday, July 20.

According to the city, the work is part of the overall construction on Las Vegas Boulevard between Stewart and Sahara avenues.
